International Museum Day

The International Museum Day is taking place for the 47th time this year. It is proclaimed annually by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and celebrated in Germany on a Sunday. The aim of the Museum Day is to draw attention to museums in Germany and around the world and to invite visitors to discover the diversity of museums.

The Phyletische Museum is also taking part again this year! On Sunday, May 19, 2024, we will grant you free admission. You can also explore the museum with a fun QR code search rally and even pick up a little surprise at the reception desk at the end. Also available in English.
